Heartbreak For Davido Fans As He Declares This Annoucement

It is heartbreak for Davido fans as he has revealed that he is stepping away from music for an indefinite period.

Speaking during a recent livestream with Davrel, the award-winning artist told fans not to anticipate new releases from him anytime soon, explaining that he is currently taking a break from making music.

According to Davido, he has already built a strong presence in the industry and doesn’t feel pressured to constantly drop new tracks to stay relevant. He pointed out that his music still dominates nightlife playlists.

“Stop asking me when I’m dropping new music. I’m on a musical break. Like I said, if you go to the club right now, 10 out of 20 songs are mine. So I am on a musical break,” he said.

The singer also shared his thoughts on Nigeria’s growing celebrity boxing scene, describing the tournament as a positive and exciting development for the entertainment industry.

“I am actually impressed by the celebrity boxing tournament. It is a welcome development,” he added.

This comes shortly after popular streamer Carter Efe defeated controversial singer Portable to become the new champion of the Nigerian celebrity boxing tournament.

Following the loss, Portable accused several colleagues in the music industry of failing to support him, alleging that many of them dislike him.
