BLOODY CIVILIAN – Is Just All Shades Of Unique Musically & She Is One Clearly Set For Worldwide Greatness!

When the star-studded Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack album dropped alongside the movie last month there was one name on the tracklist alongside the likes of Rihanna, Burna Boy, Tems and others that was a little bit more of a mystery.

Appearing alongside Rema on the funky and dark “Wake Up” was a unique and freshly breathtaking Nigerian artist called Bloody Civilian.

Real name Emoseh Khamofu, the Abuja-born 25-year-old was signed by Def Jam CEO Tunji Balogun who was responsible for signing Tems, SZA and Kendrick and is managed by Seni “Chubbz” Saraki, co-founder of NATIVE, who also served as a co-producer on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

‘Bloody Civilian’ is a genre-defying singer, whose penchant for storytelling manifests in her authentic, unbridled, and poetic lyricism. She grew up in a supportive family system, to a mother who was medical doctor and an engineer father, who played the bass guitar with his band in the ‘80s. Biologically the first born, her household included many older siblings, and with this background the singer, songwriter and producer gained exposure to a broad range of musical tastes.

A storyteller before anything, a driving force of Bloody Civilian’s work is to empower and platform African art. Bloody Civilian hopes that her career will be marked by her distinct dedication to uplifting her African culture and heritage in every space she encounters.
